Design is an important way to humanize space, allowing it to be transformed, highlighted and shaped to offer a personnalised living or working environment to its users. Light, space, texture, colors and furniture are the tools, you are the inspiration.

     Fort d'une formation large et variée alliant le design industriel et le design intérieur, il a également pu profiter d'études d'architecture à Lyon, ainsi que de plusieurs cours de gestion à Montréal.

 

     À la suite de ses études, il a joint l'équipe d'Artitalia comme designer industriel, où il a pu travailler sur le développement de mobilier de présentation, l'aménagement commercial et les rendus de présentation pour plusieurs clients d'importance. Il a ensuite accepté un poste de technicien en bâtiment au sein de l'équipe des services technique de l'hôpital IRGLM, où il a assuré le développement et la coordination de nombreux projets de rénovation majeure dans l'établissement. En continuité avec ces travaux, il s'est ensuite rallié à l'équipe de la firme Bisson Fortin & Associés Architectes, d'abord pour travailler sur un important projet de lien physique entre deux bâtiments de l'IRGLM, puis sur divers projets institutionnels et gouvernementaux.

 

     À la fin de son mandat, en 2013, il a décidé de poursuivre son parcours professionnel en créant Patrick Belanger Design. Depuis, il a été amené à travailler sur une diversité de projets, résidentiels, institutionnels et commerciaux, où il a su s'entourer de partenaires de qualité.

 

     Cherchant à toujours élargir ses horizons et ses connaissances, il trouve une inspiration indéniable dans ses voyages, à la rencontre d’autres cultures, et de leur histoire et leur architecture. Évidemment, rester à l'affût des récentes techniques et technologies, tendances et matériaux est un plaisir qu'il cultive constamment !

 

 

    

     After studying both industrial and interior design, he spent a few years studying architecture in Lyon, as well as business administration in Montreal.

 

     After his studies, he joined Artitalia's team as a industrial designer, where he worked on the development of display furniture, commercial space planning and 3D renderings for many international clients. He later took a position as building technician within the IRGLM hospital technical services team, where he was in charge of all the building renovation and repairs, from planning to delivery. Following those projects, he then joined the team of the renowned firm Bisson Fortin & Associés Architectes, initially to work on a major physical link between two buildings of the IRGLM, and subsequently on various institutional and governmental projects.

 

     At the end of his office term, in 2013, he decided to pursue his professional career by creating Patrick Belanger Design. Since then, he has worked on a wide range of residential, institutional and commercial projects, where he was able to surround himself with many high quality partners.

 

     Ever interested in broadening his horizons and developing professional knowledge, he is inspired  by his travels, getting to know the different cultures he encounters, and their history and architecture. Keeping in touch with the most recent techniques and technologies, trends and fabrics is an undeniable pleasure for him !
